What you'll do:

As a Talent Development Program Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing learning and development programs that will help our people grow and make an impact at Western Alliance Bank. You will play a strategic role in shaping and executing learning and development initiatives that drive growth, performance, and alignment with Western Alliance Bank’s mission, vision, and values. You will serve as a key architect of early career development programs that build business acumen, strengthen leadership capabilities, enhance organizational effectiveness, and reinforce our culture across the bank.

In this highly visible role, you will partner closely with business leaders, HR partners, and program stakeholders to design and deliver impactful learning experiences. You will oversee programs such as the Summer Internship and Commercial Banking Development Program, while also leading the creation of new initiatives that address evolving business needs and talent priorities.

  • Lead the execution and continuous improvement of development programs, including annual planning, communications, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of in-person and virtual learning events.
  • Monitor participant progress and engagement, maintaining regular touchpoints with managers and participants to ensure high-impact outcomes and alignment with development goals.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Learning & Talent Development to design and operationalize new programs that support strategic talent initiatives.
  • Develop and facilitate professional training workshops focused on core capabilities such as; business acumen, leadership, communication, and other skills.
  • Actively engage with business leaders and stakeholders to gather feedback, identify needs, and incorporate best practices into program design and delivery.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to continuously elevate the effectiveness and relevance of development offerings.

 

What you'll need:

  • 4+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and ability in managing development programs, training, instructional design, facilitation and development.
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, speaking and writing, for internal and external audiences
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
  • Occasional travel required.
